I'm so glad you're here.

Little Roots Collective was born from a simple belief: childhood isn't something to rush through. It's something to nurture.

Over the past 15 years, I've had the privilege of wearing many hats in the early childhood field. I've worked as a classroom teacher, coached educators, developed professional learning, led child care programs, and partnered with hundreds of teachers and families to create environments where children can thrive.

Throughout those experiences, one truth became clearer and clearer: children flourish when they feel safe, connected, and genuinely known. Play isn't just something children do. It's one of the primary ways they learn about themselves, others, and the world around them.

Those beliefs eventually led me to foster care, where they were challenged, strengthened, and lived out in deeply personal ways. Walking alongside children who have experienced uncertainty reinforced something I had long believed: every behavior tells a story, relationships matter, and healing often begins with consistent, caring adults who choose to show up day after day.

Today, those experiences continue to shape every resource I create.

Whether it's a printable activity, a set of connection cards, or a caregiver resource, my hope is that every tool encourages meaningful moments between children and the adults who love them. Not because anyone needs to be a perfect parent or teacher, but because small and intentional moments of connection have a lasting impact.

Little Roots Collective is rooted in the belief that children grow best through play, wonder, relationships, and the freedom to simply be children. My goal is to create resources that feel practical, encouraging, and grounded in both research and real life, helping caregivers and educators feel a little more confident and a little less alone.

Above all, my faith shapes the way I see children. I believe every child is uniquely created by God with immeasurable worth, purpose, and potential. That belief is the foundation of both my work and my heart behind Little Roots Collective.
